Mineral water must be alkaline to promote health
An acidic body contributes to a long list of diseases. Aqui-Live has an natural balance of alkaline minerals, with a ph of 8.3.
Naturally occurring Magnesium in drinking water should be as high as possible
Magnesium from food sources is generally less than ½ of what the body needs, due to excessive use of fertiliser in farming. Conversely, Calcium is more resistant to modern farming practices and is often found in too high quantities. Magnesium is called “the miracle mineral”, preventing a wide range of conditions, including hypertension and heart disease. However, it is getting increasingly difficult to get a proper natural intake of magnesium.
The Magnesium/Calcium ratio should be 1:1 or preferably higher
Our Calcium intake is too high, as it is resistant to fertilisers and remains in the soil and in ground-water. Calcium contacts muscles, whereas Magnesium relaxes muscles, including the heart. The majority of waters contain a lot more calcium than magnesium, which tightens muscles and calcifies the body over time.
The Nitrate level should be as low as possible
Nitrate measures the amount of foreign, non-natural matters in water. Examples include fertilisers, animal waste and human sewage. Water has a natural Nitrate balance of 1 mg/l, a higher reading typically suggests a compromised water. Aqui-Live’s Nitrate level is only 0.008 mg/l, confirming the purity of the water.
